Mission Statement

Isaiah 61:1
Believing above all that music is a universal language and knowing
that one can be free by the power of God, through the power of
music, it is my soul (sole) mission to take you to a place where God
and God alone will change and touch your life in a special way
through anointed music and ministry.
Combined powerful worship and
lyrics of truth are mixed with several various music styles to
create a unique sound of praise and worship that will inspire every
man, woman, boy and girl of all ages to worship the Lord.
The powerful strong voice and
message will pierce every heart with one purpose alone, and that is
to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ through music. Never to touch
God's glory, but to bring down the sound of heaven that will
encourage you and allow the love, healing and deliverance of God to
flow through the anointing.

Biography

Rachel is an international recording artist, author,
composer, radio personality and minister of the gospel born and
raised in San Diego, CA Her ministry can be seen and heard on
various television, satellite programs and in many radio programs in
the United States and around the world. Her sole purpose is to reach
out to this world through the means of powerful anointed music and
evangelism. She knows and teaches the importance of music for the
development of a strong walk with Christ. "Music is a big part of
our society. Everything revolves around music. Music is spirit. What
we put in is what we put out." Her sole purpose is to reach out to
this world through the means of powerful anointed music. She has
reached out to the youth of her community for many years, along with
her husband Daniel and daughter Tabitha. Husband Dan serves as an
Elder and leader in their home church, Rachel is an ordained
minister.
Rachel has authored "Follow Your Dreams", teaching curriculum and
manuals, several music CD projects, is the founder of Foundation 61,
Inc. a non-profit organization dedicated and focused on bringing
purpose, destination and hope to the youth and people of our
community through development of various programs along with the use
of the Arts. She is also the co-founder, along with her husband
Daniel, of S.O.L.D.I.E.R.S, a faith-based military program for boys.
Her goal is to reach children and youth while they are young, to
inspire them to live for Jesus. She attributes her sensitivity to
the Spirit of God and readiness for the gospel to the years of
teaching throughout her whole life in ministry. Hundreds have been
saved, healed and delivered throughout the music ministry. "This is
a new season for me and I know that it's time to take the music that
God has given to me to another level and see more souls come to
Jesus Christ."
Along with successes, Rachel has had several obstacles to overcome.
Those came with her only daughter Tabitha who was diagnosed with a
bone disease at the very early age of 6 months. She has seen her
daughter endure seven major surgeries to remove and reconstruct her
bones. The most recent was the second of hip reconstructions done.
This was a long and painful nine-hour procedure in which two pints
of blood were needed. It was only the strength and peace of God that
helped the family through these difficult times. In a chest to ankle
body cast for three months (twice) and months of physical therapy to
learn to walk again. It was a faith walk the past six years, but out
of that, came the best praise. "The best songs come from a broken
vessel. I know that the praises of God must go higher than the
circumstances and fires of life. Just like the woman with the
alabaster box, the perfume she had was expensive and it came with a
high price, all she had. God brings forth his Glory from the
brokenness. I have seen God take me to another level through the
difficult times in my life. It didn't bring me down, but it taught
me to stay humble and broken before him."
But the trials did not end with her daughter, Rachel faced, and
survived an emergency surgery. She only remembers going into the
emergency room with severe pains in her body and waking up two days
later in a hospital room with wires and connections all around her,
and a large tube coming out of her nostril and down into her throat.
She was in the hospital for weeks, and unable to speak. It was
obvious the tube was affecting her voice. The doctors said it was
only a miracle that they caught the irruption in time. Only minutes
from death, it was the hand of God that reached out at the very
exact moment to fulfill His perfect will in her life. She says that
those were times of self-examination and humility. Earlier, the
throat specialist had recommended that she give up singing. Three
large calluses had developed in her throat and would eventually
cause permanent damage to her voice. But She believes that God has
and will continue to anoint her voice, and stands on His word. "Open
your mouth and He will fill it."
According to His Word, there is only one thing that will set men
free and that is, Truth. Her lyrics and music are filled with His
word, and spiritual truths. You will find that all her songs are
written with true-life experiences of God's grace and mercy. Through
the music you can actually hear the voice of healing. The powerful
melodies take you to a place where you can be healed and set free.
It is evident that her only desire is to draw people to Jesus
Christ.
It is the desire of Power of Music to see Gods people set Free by the
power of God, through the Power of music. Freedom to worship.
Freedom to love. Freedom to be united as one body with one common
goal, to reach souls for Jesus.
